Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg and Urbana Shine at the Maryland Early Childhood Conference
Six dedicated team members from our academies recently had the privilege of participating in the Maryland Early Childhood Conference, an annual event designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of educators and professionals in the field of early childhood education.
At the conference, attendees had the opportunity to learn from influential speakers, including MDAEYC President Christina Lopez, Dr. Amanda Holliday-Bembridge, and Dr. Diane Jackson Schnoor. These experts emphasized crucial aspects of early childhood education, such as promoting equity in the classroom, integrating consistent musical experiences throughout the day, and engaging young learners with multicultural picture books and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities.
Our Kiddie Academy team benefited immensely from this experience. They participated in workshops that not only sharpened their professional skills but also equipped them with the latest teaching strategies and resources. Additionally, they had the chance to connect with fellow educators and professionals who share their passion for providing exceptional early childhood education.
By investing in opportunities like these, we prioritize the growth and development of our educators. This, in turn, underscores our commitment to supporting our staff members. We are excited about the fresh knowledge, innovative ideas, and new connections that our team brings back to our classrooms. We believe that this renewed dedication to providing exceptional early childhood education ultimately benefits the families we serve.”
