Meet the Owner

Erin Wackerhagen

We want to take a moment and introduce ourselves as the new owners of the Kiddie Academy of Five Forks.  I am Erin Wackerhagen and I will be the primary owner with the assistance of my husband Dan. We have two children, Daniel (13) and Caroline (11).  We have lived in Greenville for almost 11 years and feel blessed to call it home. I graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelors of Education in Secondary Education and a minor in Elementary Education. I also obtained a Masters of Teaching from Southern Wesleyan University.  I have 9 years of classroom experience in a variety of settings along with 2 years of management experience as the Executive Director of Soccer Shots of the Upstate. I am excited to use my skills and passions in a new way!  Dan is also a graduate of Clemson University and is a US Army Veteran.  He is a strong leader with a passion for business and for the local community. His experiences as the Co-Owner of Soccer Shots of the Upstate and his present ownership of a successful mold remediation franchise here in the Upstate will be a great asset to us.          Our first introduction to the Kiddie Academy of Five Forks was about 6 years ago when we began our journey as Foster Parents seeking care for one of our little ones. It was important to us that the children in our care had an opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and caring environment while we could not be with them.  Kiddie Academy met all of these needs and more. We have always been impressed with the focus on developing the whole child through a high-quality curriculum and safe environment.  We are excited to be a part of the Kiddie Academy community!
