Kiddie Academy^® and Family Promise

The Backstory

Since its inception, Kiddie Academy has been committed to the education of the whole child and to improving communities. When we set out to forge a partnership with a national nonprofit, we sought to further our mission of awakening possibilities through nurturing and learning, essentially leveraging our proprietary Life Essentials^® curriculum to effect positive change outside of our classroom walls.

With a focus on empowering families and setting up children for success, Kiddie Academy found alignment between Family Promise’s values and our own.

Partnership Impact

Working with Family Promise allows for so many creative ways to make a difference. Across the country, our corporate offices and Academies have hosted fundraising drives, in-person events, and awareness campaigns in support of Family Promise’s mission. Since the inception of our partnership, we’ve worked together to raise over $120,000 in support of Family Promise’s mission, not to mention thousands of dollars in in-kind donations of food, clothing and school supplies.

Through Family Promise’s impactful work:

• 88,349 children were served in 2022
• 78% of the families in shelter programs exit to stable housing
• over one million parents and children have been served since 1988
